Budget-friendly concept in the heart of Copenhagen
In 2009, we built our first modern architect-designed budget hotel, Wakeup Copenhagen, on Carsten Nieburhsgade. Today, we have three Wakeup Copenhagen hotels in the city, just a few minutes' walk from the absolute center of Copenhagen, and one in Aarhus C.
Wakeup Copenhagen - our vision is clear
Guests should have the best combination of sleek design, central location, and low prices. The concept has resonated and is a success today. The hotels are designed by architect Kim Utzon, and our close collaboration over the years has ensured that our clear goals for these hotels have been achieved.
At Wakeup Copenhagen, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city, a modern private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, and wireless internet in the room, as well as a comfortable 1.60 m wide double bed.

Experience Copenhagen on a tight budget
Even though Copenhagen is an expensive city to visit, there are fortunately plenty of exciting experiences to be had even on a tight budget. Many museums have a weekly free day, and when it comes to shopping, there are lots of flea markets around the city where you can find great deals.
Venturing a little outside the Inner City, for example to Nørrebro or Vesterbro, you can find plenty of small restaurants serving affordable food. Try a well-made shawarma on Nørrebrogade and explore the neighborhood's lively small streets.
You can also take part in one of Copenhagen's many free cultural offerings, such as the Jazz Festival in July.
