Membership conditions for the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group loyalty programme
Effective as of 1. december 2015
These conditions apply to membership of the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group loyalty programme. The loyalty programme is owned and operated by Arp-Hansen Hotel Group A/S, Central Business Register no. (CVR-no.) 54399219, Nybrovej 75, 2820 Gentofte, Denmark, hereinafter "we" or "us".
We advise you to read our conditions thoroughly before becoming a member. You should be particularly aware of the text indicated in Bold.
Every individual above the age of 18 may apply for membership of the loyalty programme on our website under the domain name arp-hansen.dk or directly at our hotels. However, we reserve the right to reject an application or to terminate an existing membership in case of abuse or other special circumstances, just as we reserve the right to terminate the loyalty programme with 3 months notice to the end of a calendar month.
As a new member, you must enter information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address. Subsequently, you will, within four weeks, receive a membership card with a printed membership number, which is personal and confidential.
The membership card may be used to earn points per night spent at one of our hotels in the course of a calender year. Earned points may be redeemed for free hotel nights (free nights), and the membership card may trigger discounts with our business partners.
You earn 500 points per night spent at one of our hotels, with the exception of Wakeup Copenhagen, Wakeup Aarhus and Steel House Copenhagen. The hotels included are: Phoenix Copenhagen, 71 Nyhavn Hotel, Imperial Hotel, The Square, Tivoli Hotel, Copenhagen Island, Copenhagen Strand and Gentofte Hotel.
You do not earn points when redeeming free nights.
You will only earn points if you state your membership number when booking and/or checking in. Please allow for up to three weeks from the end of your stay until the points are shown in your account.
If you forget to state your membership number, you may apply for points to be added up to six months after your stay, however, not for nights spent before you became a member. In these cases, we may request a copy of your hotel invoice.
You earn points regardless of who pays for the stay. However, you only earn points for your own night, that is for one room and one person.
If you have not earned any points in a period of three years, we reserve the right to end the membership.
All types of hotel nights entitle you to earn points, including also campaign offers. However, you do not earn points for free overnight stays or overnight stays for our own employees.
You do not earn points for hotel stays booked with online travel agencies, regardless of the price paid.
Earned points may be spent to pay for a night, called a "free night", every day of the week, incl. weekends, at one of our hotels, however, with the exception of Wakeup Copenhagen, Wakeup Aarhus and Steel House Copenhagen. The ho-tels included are: Phoenix Copenhagen, 71 Nyhavn Hotel*, Imperial Hotel, The Square, Tivoli Hotel, Copenhagen Island, Copenhagen Strand and Gentofte Hotel.
A free night costs 5000 points for a standard room for one or two persons incl. breakfast. Free nights in Superior or Executive rooms incl. breakfast cost 10,000 and 15,000 points, respective-ly. It is not possible to spend earned points on an upgrade to a different room type when you have paid for a reservation.
As a member, you may book free nights for relatives if you so wish. However, it must be you as a member booking the free night. When booking, please state that you want to book a free night.
Please note: Booking a free night is subject to availability at the requested hotel. There is a lim-ited number of rooms reserved for free nights at each hotel. If all such rooms are booked, you may instead choose to pay for a reservation in the usual way.
Booking a hotel room as a free night is subject to the same conditions as bookings in general. You may therefore lose earned points if you cancel your booking later than agreed cancellations terms or do not show up (no-show).
*Please note that 71 Nyhavn Hotel does not offer Standard rooms, however, you are more than welcome to book a free night in one of the hotel’s other rooms at a higher point price.
If you remember to state your membership number, you may also obtain discounts and other benefits with a number of our business partners. The identity of such business partners and the selection of discounts, products and services may change over time.

At all times, you are entitled to resign membership of the Loyalty Programme by logging in to your profile here, where it is possible to resign. You will receive a confirmation of your resignation to the registered email address on the profile. If there are any questions in this regard, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us at tel. +45 45970500. If your membership is discontinued, regardless of the reason for this, your earned points will lapse without compensation. If you are a consumer, you mayfor up to one year after the discontinuation of the membership, request that the value of your remaining points be paid to a bank account of your choosing, however, if you request the value of your points to be paid payment will be subject to a fee of DKK 500. The fee also applies if you request the value of remaing or existing points to be paid before said points expire, cf. item 8 below.
The value of a point is DKK 0.02.
If you lose your membership card, or if you suspect that a third party has become aware of your membership number, you should immediately contact the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group, phone number +45 80 30 30 45 to avoid abuse and fraud.
Please note: You are liable for your loss, if any, if a third party abuses your membership card or membership number, unless we have acted negligently.
You may at most earn up to 100,000 points at a time, corresponding to DKK 2000.
Two or more members may not combine their respective points or transfer points to each oth-er's membership cards. Points may not be spent as partial payment for a room or other ser-vices.
You are responsible for reporting the value of points earned via your place of work but spent privately to the Danish Customs and Tax Administration and other authorities.
Points are valid for three years from the day you earn them. When spending points on free nights, the oldest points are spent first. Points older than three years will automatically be deleted without the possibility of compensation. Points will also be deleted if your membership is discontinued, regardless of the reason for this.
The membership card may not be combined with other bonus schemes such as EuroBonus.
We reserve the right to amend these conditions without notice and to terminate the loyalty pro-gramme.
You will, however, be notified of material amendments via email with a minimum notice of three months.

When you sign up as a member, you will receive a membership number and a password to be used to log in to your membership account at arp-hansen.dk. Here, your earned points will be shown and you may change or delete information about yourself. You may also choose to terminate your membership.
We collect, process and store personal data in compliance with the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data (persondataloven).

By becoming a member of the Loyalty Programme, you agree to receive emails including news, information on accommodation, special offers, information on exciting events and competitions from the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group and the Group's hotels as well as meetings and events taking place in the neighbourhood of the Group's hotels. You may expect to receive newsletters approx. 10-20 times a year.
At all times, you are entitled to resign membership of the Loyalty Programme and, consequently, you will no longer receive the aforesaid emails, unless you have permitted the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group or the Group's hotels to send you emails in other contexts.
These conditions and any other agreement for the purchase of our products and services are subject to Danish law, except for the Danish conflict of laws rules.
