Environment & energy policy of the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group  

The Arp-Hansen Hotel Group is committed to environmental sustainability. In all our company activities - such as new-build, refurbishment and operations of our hotels – we actively engage in environment-friendly initiatives and naturally respect all environmental legal requirements.  

Environment is about how we contribute as individuals
Our employees are our most important source to a profound respect for the environment. The company provides instruction and courses to make sure that our employees are well-informed how to act environmentally correct. The employees of our company are front-runners. In this way we believe to best affect the guest’s wish to make a difference for the environment.  

Environment is about co-operation
It is of paramount importance for our efforts for a better environment that we in the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group make sure to involve as many stakeholders as possible – and make them participate in the same battle. For that purpose the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group has an ongoing dialogue with suppliers. Suppliers of stable deliveries such as linen, detergents and soaps must demonstrate innovative environmental initiatives.  

Environment is about common rules
The Danish authorities and institutions set high environmental standards, and at the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group we, of course, fulfil all legal requirements, the Danish Building regulations and Danish Standard. Whenever building new hotels – or refurbishing existing ones – the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group installs specially designed bathrooms with water-saving toilet flushes (3-6 litres) and 2-step regulated faucets. We sort our wastes in order to facilitate recycling, in full compliance with the requirements of the Danish authorities.
